We had driven around to Jeffersonville to avoid the walk on 108. The 30-minute drive would, theoretically, save us about 1.2 miles of walking. We were tired of the walking. It seemed like a fine idea.
Above is The Stone Hut, 1.2 miles in from the lot, where we had been greeted by wind, heavy snowfall and general nastiness. Please record in the ledger the following: Conditions did not improve. |
