I spent the night at Dodge Lodge in Pinkham Notch, for a change. My room was named after the Brown Bat. All of the rooms are named after indigenous Northeast creatures. I have a sneaking suspicion that if they live there, they probably also live... elsewhere. But who am I to argue, or poke fun, or point out a certain clannishness?
