All In Good Time

The mountain from Paradise. The Kautz Ice Cliff is just above and slightly right of the tallest of the thin pines at left center in the photo. From the Kautz, working left to right, you have the Wilson and Nisqually glaciers, and finally, the huge Gibraltar Rock (Gib Rock) at right skyline. Below Gib Rock is the interminable Muir Snowfield, the traditional approach to the Ingraham Glacier, which is on the east side of Gib and Cathedral Rocks.
