A very, very deep, very, very dark, very, very scary crevasse. Brett approached it cautiously on belay and hacked away some of the surface ice before announcing that it would require "a long step."
Brett's legs are four feet long. It was a jump. A big one. Takeoff and landing, the whole bit. |
