The Bumby in the Calton case. Sorry for the Batman camera angle.
What else can I say? I'm extremely happy with the way the guitar came out, and I'm really happy for David, first that he got well, and second that he continues to make such fine instruments. Thanks again David for a job terrifically done.
I'll put in one more plug - Berkowitz Guitars - Washington, D.C. David makes six- and twelve-strings, basses, and is one of the preeminent makers of acoustic baritone guitars in his field. I've played a number of guitars by a number of fine makers. Last summer I played one of his spruce/koa baris and it was, simply, the most freakin' amazing guitar I've ever played. I must have one... someday.
But for now, The Bumby will do. This guitar got bawlz. Hoooge bawlz.
