Plunking over the barriers...
I'm still not particularly good at cyclocross. I'm an awful runner, only electing to do so when forced, i.e., chased. I am incredibly slow through the barriers - typically 18" high these days - which is at least an inch above my knee to begin with. A gazelle I am not. And I bike handle like a baboon. These are not good odds.
But I like riding my bike. And I don't mind falling down (much) or looking like an imbecile (going strong since the late-'60s).
Can't wait 'til next year. |
