Mt. Shasta, 25-28 May 2000

Looking up from Hidden Valley at the plateau where the Jeffs and I had camped while waiting for Bruce and Em. The slope was as steep as 60 degrees in spots. To get down to Hidden Valley proper we had to work our way down around climber's left of the large rock, then make our way down a steep, 45-degree slope. On the way out, we would traverse the lower portion of the slope all the way around to Anaconda Gully. My left arm still hurts from the pole plants.
