Shut Down... Again

I'm going to apologize in advance. I didn't get many photos of Brian this trip (you'll see why later). I'll make up for it on future climbs. Fact is there wasn't a lot to shoot. But, per usual, we'll get to that.

Brian and I simulclimbed the approach up to a short distance below the first mixed pitch on Hitchcock Gully (3+) in about 45 minutes, kicking the crap out of our previous time. The snow was deep and made for easy step kicking and Brian and I settled into an efficient rhythm. Here I am following Brian up to the belay before the mixed section.
