Shut Down... Again

My first, very short and quite easy ice lead.

I brought Brian up and he decided to go up a bit and check out the mixed section. It was in fabulous shape. Much easier than we'd found it before. Very tempting... Brian wanted to give it a shot, but I strongly recommended that we call good enough on the day, get down quickly, then drive up to our goal for the next day, Shoestring Gully, and check conditions and scope the approach while it was still light out. Brian quickly agreed this was the best plan.

We rapped a rope length, then glissaded back down to the tracks.
