Mt. Garfield, White Mountains

I was feeling reasonably good. The snow conditions were fabulous. A huge improvement over two weeks earlier on Mt. Chocorua with Brian (sorry, Brian). The trail was wide enough and the powder fresh and deep enough that I knew I'd be able to ski most, if not all of the way out. I had been following a set of snowshoe tracks, which had broken trail nicely. Until I caught the first group of three snowshoers, anyway. And then the second set of two. And that's when I got to break trail.

For about 1,500' vertical.

Shot courtesty of Crotchcam 3000.
