South Side Route

As mentioned earlier, the summit is one large cornice, so we didn't linger long and we didn't get too close to the edge (one week earlier a woman had inexplicably untied from her rope team and walked over to the edge of the summit, looked over, then fell 2,500 feet to her death). The edge of the summit is clearly visible in the photo. In the distance Mt. Adams on the right and Mt. Rainier on the left are visible.
