V-Day: Phoning It In

As you may or may not recall, last year my wife and I started a tradition of cooking a meal together for Valentine's Day. This year... well, someone cooked. That someone was me. And I'm cool with that.

We've been busy. Unbating winter weather and its attendant plowing and shovelling has taken the wind out of the sails. We're tired. Last year we puzzled for weeks over the menu like it was one of those impossible acrostics the Brits seem to love so much. This year... more a game of Tic-Tac-Toe. And we're cool with that. Something high in Omega-3s, we thought. And so...
